Briem started her acting career as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. She was a child actor in Iceland performing in the stage and on television. In the year 16 Briem was transferred to London to take part in an event for the theatre of the production Lenin In Love which was staged at the New End Theater. Briem received his degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a Diploma in Drama. He participated in many plays as a student at RADA, such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House, written by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem continued her career acting in London performing in shows like Catalog of Misunderstanding (directed by Mike Figgis) at the National Theater Studio. She performed in Losing Louis' five-month West End West End Season. Anisa However is an Indian British actor in film and TV. When she was a child, she was a star on the television show of Disney Channel India, series Ishaan. Her film debut was with Shuja Ali's movie Baat Bann Gayi.
